1st live gig. : 4 hour set at coffeshop Vollebregt (pre-sale adress for Hardhouse party by HardHouse Events) Some history: At the age from about 5 years, Daniel got addicted to synthesizer music, in the following years he was able to play along songs on organs and keyboards wihtout having learned to play on these instruments, this gave him the feeling to have some music skills. Later on daniel got music lessons on school but didnt really liked woodenflute's ,but he liked the piano in the classroom more, so abused it sometimes (the teacher didnt like that). In the meanwhile he did learn reading/writing music notation. After some time he got his own double clavier organ and later on trade it for a electronic keyboard and developing playing skills. Between the age of 13 and 15 he got in touch with "the house music"( then called acid - underground house) and a new addiction was born. House, the music sounded logical and great and addictive, the desire and feeling to make his own house was born, In the meanwhile the interest for creating own tracks was growing, first began making music on a atari 800xl later on bought a commodore amiga with a sampler to make own samples. While trying to make mods(tracks) with real samples in fast- and pro-tracker he developed producing skills and altering samples and sounds. Still he didnt found the right style, after several years around age of 16/17 he bought his first set of technics turntables (second hand and still use them in the bedroom studio at this time) and a mixer. Once in a while purchasing expensive (vinyl) records , acid and later on some progressive house, trance and happy hardcore, but still the right genre not found which would touch his heart. Having learned to mix with the several different records but nothing matched. Last 10 years. Reaching the age of 20, working at a telecomshop in amsterdam. Daniel bought and build his own first PC and started to get familiar with better music software and hardware. At his work Daniel met a female DJ, DJ Dulce who just started DJ'ing , at first she played groovy,club and speedgarage, later on she broke through with hardstyle and daniel went with her as buddy to a lot of different clubs through the netherlands and some in germany and his DJ vibe growed stronger and stronger. But all this hardstyle sounds also didnt touched his heart to the bottom, after some years reaching age of 25/26 daniel met his girlfriend, her brother in law was at that time already DJ (DJ BeNRG) but he had a total different style, as lightning striked, this style touch the bottom of his heart. This hardhouse style straid from the UK made his heart pumping on the fat beats and basslines. The love for UK harddance has grown since, UK hardhouse/hardtrance and Nrg/fiNrg (Energy/Finergy) are now the most favorite styles. This is the style he liked the best and likes to present this strong/powerfull energetic house to the public and also produce this great style to spread it around the globe. This hardhouse style is best explained as The HQ sound (High Quality) which comes ariginally from the UK already was getting popular in several clubs like Trance budda (Amsterdam), with alot of harddance lovers which has grown since. HQ parties where being held in the Melkweg(Amsterdam) which helped the style to grow in lovers for this music. Later on the HQ sound also went bigger and being played on the bigger parties like dancevalley. Some of daniel's the favorite harddance DJ's are: DJ Proteus(finland), DJ Tom Harding, DJ JP, DJ BK, DJ Danny D, DJ Fausto,all very great harddance DJ's and producers.

• The present. After some years and buying harddance records and mixing in the bedroom studio developing mixing skills and going to monthly harddance parties like D.D.O.D from Dawn to Dance and Hardhouse from Hardhouse Events and also one of the biggest harddance events in London the "Hard Dance Awards" held in the best UK club ever "the Brixton Academy", meeting a lot of great people and harddance lovers,daniel got the change finally to play outside his bedroom studio. Daniel played his first live gig at the tickets pre-sale adress for hardhouse (HardHouse Events) which is Coffeshop Vollebregt in Hilversum. Daniel's first gig was a set of 4 hours with lots of hardhouse classics to some older and newer hardtrance/harddance tracks. This went so well he is re-invited to play there again. In the meanwhile daniel had collected some hardware for his own home studio to produce own tracks. One finished track was send to a producer, who after listeningthe track, recognised the potential producer skills, daniel now has been invited for futher steps into the music production.

Being busy with all of this, daniel is also busy searching for DJ Booking agencies which can help to be booked for harddance gig's, the first bookings agency daniel gets involved with is "New Underground". Some record companies say hardtrance/harddance is dying, but the opposite is true, it is even growing!! just take a good look at dancevalley 2007 HQ stage, the peoplecrowd (lovers for harddance) grows each year! Dance on !
