New Underground

In the summer of 2006 it all started when a friend gave him the computer program Traktor. A few days later he was bitten by a dangerous microbe. Due to the bite he got infected by the dangerous virus of dj-ing. There was no cure for the virus so the only thing he could do was admit to his hunger. After a few months he borrowed turntables and a mixer from his uncle and he started to buy records every week. He made cd's for his friends and learned which records were most appreciated. He practiced @ home every day and after one year he got the chance to become resident dj @ the Willy's club in his hometown Diepenbeek. In this dance-café he played his groovy electro and retro tunes every Friday. After a half year he was also asked to play on Saturdays. He expanded his style because he had to play oldies and commercial music on Saturdays. With the money he earned in the Willy’s Club he bought a lot of records and 2 pioneer cd players. Unfortunately the dance-café was taken over in the beginning of 2009, because the boss needed a calmer life. At the end of 2008 he had the chance to play a guest set @ Versuz. The manager was satified about his performance and asked him to start here as a back-up dj. He played here several times in the main- and stella room. In the future he will keep preforming here.

• Recently he was asked to do a special live gig with saxophonist Marco for the opening of the slices gold area. A week later he had to do another live act with brazilian dancers on a big private party. In the beginning of 2009 he also became resident dj @ his uncle's company Allways Events. Now he plays @ events organised by Allways Events for big companies. The locations are always different and very exclusive. On these events he plays oldies and very commercial music. For this year he got a lot of bookings: nightlife, dancing in the street, the zoo (animinimals) and a lot of private parties. During the past years he also had the chance to preform at Noxx, Montini (newyears eve), Antwerp Central Station, Industria, nightlife, coodown beachparty and a lot of private parties. He expanded his style and is now able to play all kinds of music (also R&B).
